This was going to be a Christmas piece, but became a mantra for me instead. At the time I made this, I truly felt like my body was on a separate journey from me. Sometimes we have to start with where we are. Then we have to listen really carefully.......

Trying something new is so easy with mixed media! This was my first time using silk screens. What a wonderful way to create details and play with color and pattern! This was inspired by my friend, Anne. Sometimes music must be torn out of books and colored! She is beautiful...
