I am a second grade teacher pursuing my passion for creating something from nothing. I learned how to create mixed media from a gifted friend. What drew me to this medium was how it utilizes materials found or discarded. I am a passionate hobbyist! So the supplies I have accumulated after years of making things and dabbling in everything are finally being used. Following back surgery and frustrated with resting, I found that standing to create in my art studio helped me not think about pain for time. What a blessing!

I am surrounded by love. My family is huge and extremely creative. My church is a constant support I find I can't do without. My friends keep me laughing and strong.

As this is a new venture, I am learning an enormous amount as I go. Please feel free to offer suggestions or ideas. Once things are up and running I will sprint back to my studio to get creating again!

My wish here is that I can inspire others to breathe, create, and find their own passion too.
